26 Miles is a bloody long way to run in one hit so I knew I needed to get some new fitness items to keep me going and help with the training. So as soon as I found out I had been accepted I did some shopping and here is what I brought…
This is an obvious one; of course you need decent trainers to run in to prevent an injury during training and to be as comfortable as possible. I did some research and decided to go for Adidas Ultra Boost Trainers as they had such good reviews. And I am so glad I did as they are incredible, hands down the best trainers I have ever owned! They are so incredibly comfy and bouncy, I feel like I am walking on mini trampolines. Click here for the link
I ran a half marathon about 4 years ago and I used an arm band for my phone but it really annoyed me after a while so I brought a thin belt to hold my phone and keys instead. I am finding this much easier than my old one at the moment so I am pleased I tried something new! Click here for the link
Decent Sports Bras – in bulk!
I needed something extra supportive for my lady lumps now I am increasing my cardio. I had one decent one that I loved but I can’t get it washed a dried in time every day for my next workout so I brought a few high intensity bras so I always have a decent clean one! My favourites are the Victoria Secrets Knockout Bra. Clink here for the Link
This is a slight cheat as I didn’t buy it, I inherited it! Adrian brought one last year and hardly wears it so I decided to use it instead of having it sat in his draw forever. It’s great for tracking workouts and connects directly to my IPhone.
I have slowly started my training and I’m hoping than if I start now and slowly increase the distances I will avoid any injuries!
