Five highlights from 2017

I remember being told by people when I was younger that the older you get the faster the years fly by, however I never believed them, turns out but they wasn’t lying! 2017 you have been a special year for so many reasons, looking back at what’s happened in the past 365 days I can’t believe how much we crammed in and how fast it all went.

Top five highlights of 2017

1. Moved to Kent.

In February I packed my bags and moved from Essex to live with Adrian in Kent. After a week I soon realised how much you have to do for yourself when you move out and how much of a saint my mum is for doing everything for me when I was at home. I have finally learnt how to use the dreaded washing machine that used to frighten me with all the settings! But jokes aside moving in with Adrian was the best decision we made, I’m so in love with our little life together (plus I am having so much fun exploring Kent).

2. Started a blog.

I finally started this blog! I thought about it for sooooo long about doing it, I’m so pleased and proud of myself for finally just doing it in November. I’m enjoying it so much and can’t wait for you to see what I get up too in 2018.

3.Turning 21.

I was so excited for my 21st in June and I managed to drag the celebrations on for as long as I possibly could which made so many special memories that I will treasure forever

4. Learnt to ski.

I went skiing for the first time in Feb with a group of friends and absolutely fell in love with it! So much so that we booked to go again for New Years Eve (blog post about our trip to follow shortly).

5. I got engaged.

Writing this over a week later and I still can’t believe it even happened, it was a complete surprise & I’m still in my little bubble! On Christmas Eve Adrian took me and the dog for a walk along West Wittering beach in West Sussex (as we were spending Christmas there) and got down on one knee and popped the question! It’s our favourite place and just the most perfect way to do it. I am so excited to start looking at wedding venues and plan our perfect day. I cannot wait to marry the man who makes me happier than I ever thought possible.

2017 you were a year for lots of positive changes and I am so excited to see what the new year has in store for me.

Wishing you all the happiness and luck in the new year!

All my love, always
